HEY, I’M JUS(TEA)NA!

It’s true what they say.

I never seem to be out of

caffeine…

in an all natural way.

I can spend my time trying to convince you I’m normal but I would not be fooling anyone.

If you were to ask my friends what my spirit animal is, it would be a dolphin. In a very Zara Larson way of course. So…how did I end up here?

Squarespace of course.

But now let’s actually get into what the tea is with advertising.

I attribute much of my creative thinking and confidence to my experience in the performing arts. It has fundamentally shaped the way I approach ideas, storytelling, and execution.

I treat every campaign with the same level of intentionality I brought to directing and choreographing in theatre. There is a process behind it one that requires research, deep understanding, and thoughtful construction. At its core, it is always about storytelling: how to move people, hold attention, and create something that resonates beyond the moment.

Performing has also taught me resilience. Auditioning constantly means putting yourself out there and facing rejection and critique. Over time, that experience has strengthened my ability to take feedback constructively and push myself further. I do not get discouraged easily. Instead, I use every challenge as motivation to grow and refine my craft.

Even my journey with dance reflects this mindset. I was not formally trained growing up and only began exploring it seriously in college. When I first started hip hop, I struggled. Now, I have choreographed five pieces for my team. That growth, in a relatively short time, is something I am incredibly proud of and it reflects my commitment to continuous improvement.

I am very excited to show you what I’ve got to offer,

one campaign (or dance step) at a time!

I also spent a significant part of my upbringing in Hong Kong, a true melting pot of cultures. Being immersed in such a dynamic environment exposed me to a wide range of perspectives early on, which continues to shape how I approach creative work today.

It has taught me that every campaign begins with a human truth. To find that, you need curiosity, empathy, and an openness to understanding different kinds of people. That perspective allows me to build work that feels thoughtful, relevant, and culturally aware.

As an Asian American in the creative space, I recognize how important it is to have people of color behind the scenes shaping the narratives we see. Representation is not just about visibility, but about creating work that genuinely resonates. That is the intention I bring to everything I do, whether it is a photoshoot, an advertising campaign, or any form of storytelling.
